lyrics

(Verse 1)
Sunshine beating on my brow, I couldn’t care less anyhow
Leaves falling from the trees,
My hair‘s just a blowing in the morning breeze Oh!
(Verse 2)
Squirrels gathering nuts,
Gee ain’t it wonderful to watch them munch
Children are playing with toys,
Oh what a happy sight to see such joy Oh!
(Bridge)
Wind blows the smell of the fresh green grass
I watch the birds as they tiptoe past
Bringing the sounds of a happy day
You don’t know how I wish this day would stay
(Verse 3)
Oh what a day, it’s such a wonderful day
With the sunshine beating and the squirrels eating
The leaves are falling and the birds are calling
What a day, it’s such a wonderful day,
What a wonderful day
